Turquenite, sometimes incorrectly referred to as Tyrkys, is coloured Magnesite. A simple way to distinguish Turquenite from genuine Turquoise is its price. Genuine turquoise in bright blue colour is priced around 50-100CZK/gram. Stones of lower quality are of course cheaper.

Since Turquenite is dyed Magnesite, its effects are the same.
