Rose quartz usually forms in granite pegmatite cores and has a hazy to translucent appearance. Its colour ranges from pale light pink to dark pink (which may have reddish tints) and is due to trace amounts of titania, iron and manganese.

How is the angelic or aqua aura created?

The crystal is placed in a vacuum chamber and heated to a temperature above 800 °C, at which point the precious metal(s) vapour is added, which then coats the crystal and its atoms bind to the surface. The most common elements used to make Aura crystals are gold, platinum, titanium, silver, iron, magnesium and nickel.
