Jade, calcium-magnesium silicate with a hardness of 6. It is most commonly found in shades of light to dark green and typically contains yellowish hues, but can also display shades of white, gray, brown and black. Jade is most commonly found in New Zealand along the edges of water sources. It is also commonly found in Australia, Russia, China, Taiwan, Canada, Zimbabwe and the USA (Alaska and Wyoming).
