Amethyst rose - drusen
Size: 18cm x 10cm
Amethyst rose is a rare form of amethyst, where its crystals grow almost in star-like formations, sometimes with a shape reminiscent of a rose flower. It is basically a rare collectible that comes from the area around the city of Iraí in Brazil. Amethyst is found here in thin layers.
This particular piece is very beautiful. It is a large thin sheet, the colors range from light lavender to greenish to red. It also has beautiful crystals that stand out and create an interesting look for the entire sample. The red color is due to the presence of hematite.
